Shortly after the police murder of George Floyd, we canceled all events and meetings through the month of June to put all our energy into advocating for justice. As an organization named after the riots against police brutality that set the foundation of our movement for liberation, it is essential for us to show up in solidarity and act in solidarity through the work of our caucus. As we resume the regular work of our caucus, we will continue to uphold the legacy of LGBTQ rights, and focus on solidarity within our community and among allies.
